Since the author boxes are used to show some information about authors, it is only natural they contain text. That’s why it is important to have options that would let you change the typography and adapt to the rest of the site.
How to change the typography of your author boxes?
To get access to the settings, navigate to Appearance -> Simple Author Box -> Typography.
Google font characters subset
If you use one of the subsets on your site, you will probably want to change it on your author box as well. Here you can set the Google font character subset to:
- None
- Latin
- Latin Extend
- Cyrillic
- Cyrillic Extended
- Devanagari
- Greek
- Greek Extended
- Vietnamese
- Khmer
Author name font family
Choose a font for the author’s name.
Author job title font family
Choose a font for the author’s job title.
Author description font family
Choose a font for the author’s description.
Author name font size
Select the size of the author name font. Move the slider to set the size from 1-50px. If you need a larger font, simply enter the desired number in pixels.
Author job title font size
Select the size of the author job title font. Move the slider to set the size from 1-50px. If you need a larger font, simply enter the desired number in pixels.
Author description font size
Select the size of the author description font. Move the slider to set the size from 1-50px. If you need a larger font, simply enter the desired number in pixels.
Size of social icons
Select the size of the social icons. Move the slider to set the size from 1-50px. If you need a larger font, simply enter the desired number in pixels.
Author description font style
Change the author description font style to normal or italic.
